Our first initiative is one targeted at addressing period poverty in Ghana through education, advocacy, and fundraising. The goal is to provide schoolgirls in deprived communities with all-year-round supply of safe menstrual hygiene products and equip them with the necessary information on menstrual health that will ensure that they have safe, comfortable and dignified periods.

We recognise the pivotal role of education in raising awareness and spreading knowledge to garner broad-based support for the P4P initiative, thereby boosting donations and other forms of assistance.
We also acknowledge that education and advocacy efforts alone may not be sufficient to bring about the change we seek. State involvement is crucial to creating a conducive environment that facilitates access to affordable and high-quality menstrual hygiene products for all who menstruate.
With widespread public backing and strategic partnerships, we can meaningfully contribute to the ongoing advocacy efforts to eliminate tax on menstrual hygiene products and prioritize period poverty as a public policy objective at the national level.
